About Flowering Fruit Trees

This website is intended for beginners and hobbyists, and every family who would like to grow flowering and fruit trees at home for beauty and for food.

I wanted to make it easy for you to get started right away. I had a lot of help from some knowledgeable relatives, not to mention the wonderful people at the garden centres, and local farmers. There are other resources out there to help you, from tree nurseries to garden centres, websites and books, but sometimes resources are confusing, detailed and intended for commercial orchards. I hope that this website will simplify things and answer your questions so you can get started right away. It really is easy to grow fruit trees. And once they are established (after one growing season), for the most part they will look after themselves, and will continue to produce fruit for you and your family every year.

Growing fruit trees can be an exciting and rewarding hobby, not to mention, can save you money on groceries! Fresh fruit off the tree is very healthy, full of vitamins, and its flavour is unsurpassed. The trees will add beauty to your yard and life, and increase the value of your home, and your quality of life.

So let's get started... you can learn as you go, as I did, ask questions, do some research... and before you know it, you'll have your own little Garden of Eden in your own backyard.
